Established in 1981, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) Thiruvananthapuram is a premier cancer care institution under the Government of Kerala and is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
RCC has evolved as a comprehensive cancer centre providing tertiary level care with state-of-the-art facilities for diagnosis, treatment, research, education and prevention of cancer. The centre is recognized by the Government of India as a "Centre of Excellence" for cancer care and research.
Spread over 25 acres in the Medical College Campus, RCC has a bed strength of 350 including dedicated intensive care units, day care chemotherapy units, modern operation theatres, and advanced radiation therapy facilities.
Our mission is to provide equitable, affordable and advanced cancer care to all sections of society with special emphasis on the underprivileged. We follow a multidisciplinary approach with tumor boards comprising medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and other specialists deciding the best treatment plan for each patient.
